Development and sales of gas springs

Our company has been successfully involved in technical application consulting, development and sales of gas springs since 1968. Our gas springs are used in a wide variety of industrial sectors and have become an integral part of everyday life. They are used in a wide range of applications, e.g. in the automotive industry, the furniture industry, the sanitary industry, in hospital equipment and in mechanical engineering.

The company history of Bauckhage GmbH Gasfedertechnik

The origins of our company go back to Mr Peter W. Bauckhage, who founded GROBA together with a partner in 1964. GROBA initially focussed on the development, manufacture and sale of gas springs.

GROBA developed into Peter W. Bauckhage GmbH in 1968. After the death of Mr Bauckhage in 2014, the company became Bauckhage GmbH Gasfedertechnik, a subsidiary of Schütte Industrieservice GmbH and a member of the Schütte Group, whose foundation stone was laid back in 1899 by Mr Reinhard Schütte, grandfather of Mr Peter W. Bauckhage.

Our long-standing employees are experienced in handling and using gas springs for a wide variety of tasks. Their work is supported by state-of-the-art design and calculation software. At the same time, our strategic warehousing enables short delivery times.
